About Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival (TBBHF)
The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival is a ten-day cultural event that traditionally begins the weekend before Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is the largest African-American event in the bay area that features speakers, artists, musicians, poets, and craftspeople.
Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival strives to promote diversity and cultural sensitivity. The annual event provides an opportunity for visitors to increase their awareness of African and African-American culture and history. Moreover, TBBHF is Southwest Florida’s premier cultural event that offers the community of Tampa Bay a unique blend of African and African American art, culture, and history. In 2024, Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival will be held from Friday, January 5 to Sunday, January 14.
