About Green County Cheese Days
The Green County Cheese Days festival is held on the third weekend of September in even-numbered years, on the Historic Courthouse Square in Monroe, Wisconsin. First held in the year 1914, it is one of the oldest food festivals in the United States.
It is a family-friendly event that features a parade, contests, shopping, fun, entertainment, and Wedgie(Cheese Days Mascot). The festival also offers a tasty cheese menu including baked cheese skewers, cheese ravioli, cheesy popcorns, and more. In 2023, the three-day Green County Cheese Days will take place from Wednesday, September 20 to Friday, September 22.
